Why do we process your data?

The objective of this survey is to receive the views of stakeholders or persons interested in the EU GSP concerned by the survey. These views will be published in summarised form in the study, as well as on the internet on the study website. If you provide contact details, we may also get in touch with you in case of specific follow up questions related to the survey. We will not contact you for any other purposes.

Which data do we collect and process?

The personal data collected and further processed are the name, gender, country of residence and email address of the respondent and, where applicable, the name, size, type and further relevant characteristics of the organisation on whose behalf the respondent is contributing. Respondents can also fill in the questionnaire without providing any personal or organisational details.

How long do we keep your data?

The data processor only keeps the data for the time necessary to fulfil the purpose of collection and further analysis.

How do we protect your data?

All data in electronic format (emails, documents, uploaded batches of data, etc.) are stored on our secured server which is hosted in Germany.

Who has access to your data and to whom is it disclosed?

Access to these data is restricted to the study team. Survey responses will be published in summarised form in the study, as well as on the internet on the specific study website. The study may include direct quotes of responses provided.

When responding to a consultation or feedback mechanism, you must indicate whether your personal data (i.e. your name, or the name of your organisation) may be published. In any case, your contact email address will not be published. Documents submitted in the context of a consultation or feedback mechanism, such as position papers or background documents, may be published as received. You should therefore not include personal data in documents submitted if you opt for anonymous publication.

Access to your personal data is provided to authorised staff (i.e., study team members) on a ‘need to know’ basis. Such staff abide by statutory, and when required, additional confidentiality agreements.

What are your rights and how can you exercise them?
